Note: This is a recurring opportunity with deadlines on April 1 and October 15 of each year.

Funds are intended to support research that addresses the disparity in cancer morbidity and mortality in poor and underserved populations, including psychosocial, behavioral, cancer control research, and epidemiologic approaches to psychosocial and behavioral research.

Eligibility criteria:

• Investigators in the first six years of an independent research career or faculty appointment
• Applicants must at the time of application be United States citizens, noncitizen nationals, or permanent residents of the United States
