Funding opportunity for research in all aspects of tumor stem cell biology, including the molecular and biochemical regulation of embryonic and adult stem cell behavior relevant to tumor formation.

Eligibility criteria:

• Any individual(s) with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to carry out the proposed research as the PD/PI is invited to work with his/her organization to develop an application for support

Other information:

• More than one PD/PI (i.e., multiple PDs/PIs) may be designated on the application
• Exploratory/developmental grant support is for new projects only; competing renewals not accepted
• Applicants may submit up to two resubmissions, but such application must include an Introduction addressing issues raised in the previous critique
• Applicants may submit more than one application, provided each application is scientifically distinct
