Application Receipt Dates: March 19, 2012; July 17, 2012; November 19, 2012; March 19, 2013; July 23, 2013; November 19, 2013; March 18, 2014; July 22, 2014; and November 18, 2014 by 5:00PM local time.

Support for pilot projects, testing of new techniques, secondary analyses of existing data, development and validation of measurement methods, linkage of genetic polymorphisms with other variables related to cancer risk, and development of innovative projects for more comprehensive research in cancer etiology and epidemiology.

Any individual with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to carry out the proposed research is invited to work with his/her institution to develop an application for support. Individuals from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups as well as individuals with disabilities are always encouraged to apply for NIH support.
