| Award Description: | The purpose of these awards is to foster multidisciplinary research at the interface of cancer and the microbiome, that is, a set of inter-related and interdependent projects (not a set of separate R01-like projects) among researchers of diverse scientific backgrounds in an integrated, multidisciplinary cancer and microbiome-focused effort. |
| Information And Eligibilty Criteria: | Each application should contain separate projects/components from a minimum of three faculty members, representing at least two different areas of research expertise. The Principal Investigator and at least one other project leader should be members of the UCCCC. We welcome applications which include collaborations with other University Divisions, Schools, or Institutes (e.g., Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Social Science Administration, Booth School of Business, Harris School of Public Policy, and Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering). |
