Award Description:

The University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center (UCCCC) is pleased to announce a new funding opportunity to develop high-risk/high-yield projects related to the genesis, biology, treatment or prevention of breast cancer. A major goal of this award is to interest talented faculty who are not studying breast cancer as well as to encourage new ideas from faculty already involved in breast cancer research.

Information And Eligibilty Criteria:
All levels of full time faculty (Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor) are eligible to serve as principal investigator (PI).
Only one submission is allowed per PI. If only one individual is listed, he/she must be a UCCCC member.
For multi-investigator proposals, at least one Co-PI is required to be a member of the UCCCC and this individual cannot be listed on more than two applications.
Faculty can serve as Co-PI or collaborator on a maximum of two applications.
Research Associates, Postdoctoral Fellows and Clinical Fellows are not eligible.
