The total amount of the grant is $200,000, paid in two annual installments of $100,000. Only direct costs of the research are supported by this award.

The V Scholar Clinical Award supports the career development of clinicians who are early tenure-track faculty. The applicant is expected to conduct clinical trials during the two years of the award. The program proposes to develop clinical leaders who will develop sequential clinical trials based on hypothesis-driven research.
